Gangotri Badrinath Yatra

Day 01: Delhi – Haridwar drive (210 Km/6 hrs)

The morning after breakfast drive to Haridwar. Arrive at Haridwar and check into the hotel. In the evening, visit the har ki Pauri to see the “Arati” at bank of Ganges.

Day 02: Haridwar – Gangotri drive (275 Km/8 hrs)

Early morning after breakfast drive to Gangotri. Arrive Gangotri and check into hotel.

Gangotri Temple: The temple, constructed by the Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa in the 18th Century, is situated on the right bank of Bhagirathi. Submerged Shivling: Submerged in the river, this natural rock Shivling is the place where, according to mythology Lord Shiva sat when he received the Ganga in his matted lock. It is visible in winter months when water level decreases.

Gaumukh: The Gaumukh Glacier is the source of Bhagirathi & is held in the high esteem by the devout that do not miss the opportunity to have a holy dip in the BONE CHILLING icy water. It is 14 km (one side) from Gangotri by trek.

Day 03: Gangotri – Uttarkashi drive (100 Km/4 hrs)

Morning visit the Temple. Afternoon drive to Uttarkashi. Uttarkashi is situated at the bank of river Bhagirathi.
Overnight: Hotel

Day 04: Uttarkashi – Rudraprayag drive (150 Km/5 hrs)

Morning drive to Rudraprayag. Arrive Rudraprayag and check into hotel.
Overnight: Hotel

Day 05: Rudraprayag – Badrinath (165 km/5 hrs)

After breakfast leave for the Holy Shrine of Shri Badrinath ji. On arrival pooja & holy Darshan. You have time to spend some time visiting Mana village the last village before the Tibet border.
Overnight: Hotel

Day 06: Badrinath – Srinagar (200 km / 8 hrs drive)

After breakfast leave for Srinagar and on the way take lunch at Pipalkoti. Reach Srinagar and check into hotel.
Overnight: Hotel

Day 07: Srinagar – Rishikesh – Delhi (315 Kms/ 8-9 hrs drive)

After breakfast drive back to Delhi (End of services)
